About
StreeTechniques is an expert-level performance and automotive service shop based in Piedmont, South Carolina — built by car people, for car people.
Founded and led by Kyle Weiss, the shop grew out of a simple belief: that performance work should be done right, and that the person trusting you with their build deserves more than just a parts order. From a simple brake job to a full engine build, a custom turbo kit, or a precision alignment, every job gets the same attention to detail. We use quality components because we’re not willing to put our name on anything less.
We specialize in American and Japanese platforms, forced induction, engine builds, custom fabrication, and tuning — but what keeps customers coming back isn’t just the work. It’s knowing they’ll get straight answers, honest advice, and a shop that actually cares whether the build turns out right.
We’re also more than just a shop. StreeTechniques is a gathering point for the Upstate South Carolina car community. We host open house meets and car shows at the shop, bringing together builders, enthusiasts, and gearheads of every kind — from weekend warriors to full-on race builds. If you’ve never pulled into our lot on meet day, you’re missing out.
We’re not just here to make money. We’re here to help you reach your goal and grow the culture around it.
Want to see what we’re working on? Follow us on Instagram and YouTube where we document builds, share tech content, and give you a look inside everything happening at the shop. Whether you’re deep into your own build or just getting started, there’s something there for you.
Come find us. The community is the point.
Our Team

Kyle Weiss
Owner/Founder/Fabricator/Lead Tech
Kyle founded StreeTechniques in 2019, but the shop is really the product of a lifetime spent turning wrenches. With deep roots in K-Series and LS builds and a specialty in custom fabrication, he brings a level of hands-on experience to every project that’s hard to find under one roof. His work sets the standard for everything that leaves the shop.

Danaja Weiss
Service/Operations Manager
Behind every smooth build is someone making sure the details don’t fall through the cracks. Danaja is the first voice you’ll hear when you call StreeTechniques and the person keeping your project on track from drop-off to pick-up. She handles booking, scheduling, and customer communication, so while the team is heads-down on your build, you’re never left wondering what’s going on.

Matt Dubuc
Media/IT/Everything else
The in-house tech nerd and content brain behind StreeTechniques. He handles everything from documenting builds to managing the shop’s digital presence, always with an eye for the details that make a build worth sharing. When he’s not behind a camera or down a research rabbit hole, he’s somewhere on a mountain road reminding himself why all of it matters.
